My first reversing camera.
The routing of the cable was quite good. So lay the cable from the car radio to the position of the camera.
Connect the yellow chinch pins together. There is also a red wire coming out of each connector. Connect the supplied power cable to the car's reversing light. Since there are hardly any connection points to somehow connect the cable to the car cable, I laid the car cable bare in a small area and connected the camera cable and stripped it so that there is no short circuit. This means that the camera has power as soon as you switch to reverse gear and sends the signals to the radio via the cinch cable. So that the radio also knows that it should show a picture, the short cable on the video plug should be connected to the positive pole of the power supply. Then do the same at the front of the radio, connect the cable to the reverse port of the radio. As soon as there is power on the camera, the radio receives a signal and switches on the image.
Effort approx. 45 minutes. The camera image also has distance lines for better orientation in the image.
For the price, this minimal effort is worth it.
